At Flag Spruce Initiative, we join the fight to change this narrative. Our goal is to provoke stimulating conversations about West Virginia's growth and development while also empowering the people who are thinking outside the box to move their communities and the state forward. We want to develop the capacity of organizations who provide critical aid and services to their communities. Our end-state is to make a difference, one that emphasizes the wonderful assets that West Virginia has to offer: the great outdoors, a hard-working mentality, and rich, cultural traditions - while jointly recognizing that there is work to do.
